Tasty Cookies
Went to see Cookies and Beans play @ Trädgårn - excellent and heartly performance, great harmony singing and Charlotte C was strumming guitar like a madwoman.
After, there was another show @ Brewhouse - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club did their last and 71st gig, which showed - they looked quite tired. Though they played professionally tight.
Thanks for your sweet comments on Så Ska Det Låta - I accidentally erased all but one though. Anyway, I remember there was a question concerning my lipstick, but, sorry, no information here - I just asked make-up-artist Anna Kokotos to pick a bright warm red colour.
In case you missed the TVshow and want to check out Malla's cool guitar-playing, Anne-Lie's punk-diva and Daniels smooth singing, there is another chance on wednesday SVT 1 and SVT 24.

xo

sensitive boys
I was watching this documentary about phthalates and how they can cause defects and genital malformations in baby boys. Phthalates are a common ingredient in soft plastic and cosmetics, and so it can be found in anything from T-shirt prints, wallpaper, cables, medical instruments, toys, nursing bottles, perfumes and soap. One scientist went as far as to say that we are watching the first signs of extinction - the birth numbers of baby boys have dropped by almost three million.
Unless CO2 gets us - vinyl will.
(- But isn't it funny how one has to become a freaking engineer as a consumer and zig-zag between things that will kill you and every living creature. Why not once and for all just prohibit the use of toxic, carcinogenic, bio-accumulative, hormone-disrupting and mutation-provoking chemicals?)
Keen On Green
The last few days of sunshine have been wonderful, urging me to take long walks along the brook running past Ullevi and the old Gårda-area.
Today is gray so I'm cleaning out the apartment, going to take some stuff to the recycling-station and the local vintage- and second hand-boutiques.
An easy way of being eco-friendly - here are some more suggestions, most of them might also save you money and keep you healthy as a positive side-effect:
1. Don't buy bottled water; get a reusable bottle instead.
2. Eat less meat. Eat more local and organic foods.
3. Don't litter.
4. Compost your table scraps and leftover food.
5. Reuse jars and takeaway containers. A wine-bottle can make a water-bottle or a light-holder for your dinner-table if you remove the label.
6. Walk or ride your bike when possible.
What are your favourite green tips?

A Place To Stay - info
@TT - yes, it's a shame A Place To Stay isn't listed on Spotify, but there's not very much I can do about it, really. My situation is a stalemate since I'm not signed to a record company and I don't hold the rights to A Place To Stay (neither the song nor the recording), which means I don't have the rights to exploit it or make it available in any way (that would mean me intruding on the rights holders).
I've asked the owners to sign up with Spotify, and hopefully it will be possible to listen to the song there soon.
You can stream it from this address: http://www.myspace.com/jennysilver
@PickyMicke and for those waiting for remixes - I'm sorry it's taking such time - but it's the same here, there is no money to pay remixers and so we've asked our friends and colleagues that might have the time or inclination to help. Most musicians, as other people, have rent to pay which means that favours come last in proirity.
So, at the moment there's only the original version, available at www.klicktrack.com and at iTunes.

being a musician
It's not all about music..there's a lot of paperwork involved. Rights, responsibilities, obligations have to be expressed precise and there are often many words and many pages used to make it as spot on as possible.
Then there's the annual income declaration - as a small business company owner with many different kind of work situations that call for different tax-percentages this means days of browsing through file holders comparing my own information to the income statements sent.
No space left in my brain for song-writing, it's all numbers at the moment.
